I kind of used it loosely. Post Rock / Indy.

          Bands like

          A Whisper in the Noise

          Dredg

          Minus the Bear

          Explosions In The Sky

          God Is A Astronaut

          Modest Mouse

          Mogwai

          and some other ones
Who?!? I think the only band in there I've heard of in that list is Modest Mouse... and that was on accident.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

              Mike...

Try a Gibson Firebird (if you haven't already)
They honk for this kind of stuff. There's a lot of garage rock stuff in your list there. Bright and cutting, but they warm up like an LP easily too.

I stick with the Fender Mustang.

I put a red lace sensor in my 69 reissue...
Was a totally rockin guitar...it would go metal.. but.. that kinda setup is not optimal for metal.

Its a student scale guitar.. I beleive its shorter than gibson short scale.
Theres a greta page linke dover at the FDP. I'll post that in a a sec.
Its s great informative site abotu the jaguar, jazzmaster, mustang and jagstang.
