Sully's right...I just found out the guard is not original. The original vol./tone holes have been plugged, and the guard installed. The current knob locations are new, hence the control cavity appearance on the back. I may pass on it, not sure. It's still bad-ass. The work was possibly done at the factory...Hmmm...I can route it for Hums and not feel bad

wow, that's random! it just looked odd that the pickups and bridge didn't take up as much body space as the guard does. but then again, the lack of a stop tail plays in as well. anyway, yeah man, if the price is good, i say grab it.
