It may be a local shop's custom in store brand. There were a few shops in Dallas that did that back in the day. At any rate that looks like a nice guitar with a classic layout.

Is "Sanchez" the same luthier who used to build customs and do repairs out of Nadine's Guitars on Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood years ago?

Interesting to note that the trem cavity never had a cover installed.

I remember seeing that logo in some old guitar magazines. It was a from a warmoth like company that sold parts back the day.

yeah, me too! i'll have to look for it again, but i THINK they had something to do with either ibanez' or esp's american custom shop. that logo looks great.

I'm pretty sure that it was Ibanez.

Hosono? It sounds bit different from Hoshino though.

In Back in 90 or 91, I met a guy who built guitars at home I believe and it had Sanchez logo on it and he lived in Somewhere in North Hollywood or Van Nuys.
He was offering 2 of these and I bought one of them.
It had that Pointy looking headstock in that AD above and it was a Tele body.
The Logo was much bigger though it said Sanchez.
