Well.. there must be thousands of Sanchez in L.A. and probably 10 at Jackson Factory and 100 at Fender Corona Factory.
Must be one of them though..

So is Hosono still around? Since we're on the topic of guitar body builders, whetever happened to "Paul C's Contemporary Classics"?
          Just a guitar player...

Thanks very much for all the info. I just learned my buddy got this from a Charvel collector named Otto in Ca. years back. The builder's name is Sammy Sanchez. Supposedly, he worked on alot of high profile guitarist's axes back in the 80's. It's a KILLER guitar!

no, i'm pretty sure that hosono is gone and became part of esp or ibanez' us custom shop or something to that extent. paul c's became chandler.

Sully is correct. Hosono was a supplier for Ibanez up to the mid 80's.

You need to put a "Dirty" logo above that "Sanchez" logo.

Nice axe bro, looks cool! Did you get a deal on it like a parts guitar,or custom? Congrats

I used to rehearse next to Hosono. Nice guys, small operation, they made parts for Perfomance too.

Oh, I think Sanchez was also getting Bodys from Tom Anderson at one point. ( Look at the control route)
