I always thought the DC150 "reissue" was strange, too. Jack (Slayer) had one of them... I remember him saying it sounded like crap, though. LOL

Yep, strange, neck heavy and the rounded body felt weird and it sounded lifeless and it felt really "STIFF" for some reason. Jack.

I recently ordered a bolt+ (2 weeks ago) and will post pics and a review when I get it. Carvin is one of the few brands I haven't played/owned, so I decided to give one a shot.

I plan on keeping this one tuned down a whole step with the 6th string dropped an extra whole step, so the brightness issue might be a good thing for me.
