The mutt arrived today. I immediately replaced the chrome Floyd with a black one, then took the chrome pickup cover off exposing the black coils on the Duncan "JB". After the routine dis-assemble/cleaning/re-assemble/set up...it looked/felt/played great. Its got a KILLER playing "V" profiled one-piece Wenge Schecter neck dated 1982. No fingerboard inlay with aluminum side dots. Not sure if I'm gonna' keep this neck on this body. It stays in tune nicely with the locking Gotoh Kluson repro tuners, but I may go with a Warmouth birdseye. Body is nice and light, two-piece solid flame maple with a very unique sunburst finish, kind of a burnt cherry.
