  • Gibson Goddess Les Paul

Pretty Interesting guitar, can only see two out of the five colors, but light weight body is pretty interesting. I am just not sure if i like only haveing the one volume and one tone on a LP.

Shop Les Paul electric guitars at Gibson. From the classic Les Paul Standard to the Les Paul Modern Studio, find the perfect guitar for you. Shop now!

you should see how bright that is in person
Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

I can imagine, but check out the New Century http://www.gibson.com/Products/Gibso...New%20Century/

Seems Gibson came out with alot of new guitar models there, most with the slim tapper neck.

The Ice Burst model looks nice - sort of a white fade to cream. Not sure I'd choose this over a Standard or even a Classic though.

We got one of the Goddess SGs at work...as much as I love SGs I can't really get into this one. The top is gloss finish but the back is satin finish, which I think is kind of cheap, much like the wraparound bridge. Oh well.

I'm digging the new LP GT model, too - a lot of nice specs - but can't stand that ghost flame finish on them. If only they'd make some nice solids and flametops like that.

are these marketed towards women or what?

I would need to change those awful knobs, otherwise I think they are cool.

My wife is actually looking at these. They don't look too bad. The smaller width neck and weight were of interest to her.

Dont forget to change the truss rod cover, unless you want your guitar to say goddess on it.

I assume they have a full sized electronics cavity, so it would not be a huge job making a proper Les Paul by adding a tailpiece and 2 knobs.
                          Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

Looks like they don't. What a shame.
