First came the Sanchez Custom w/graphic Killer guitar, sucky graphic. Turns out the neck was built by Hosono and the body Tom Anderson, then assembled by custom builder Sammy Sanchez sometime in the 1980's. After determining it was mahogany, and there was a good chance it was one-piece, I stripped the paint. Indeed, a gorgeous 80's era Tom Anderson one-piece mahogany body was under the paint. So, a few days later, it looks like thisPlays/sounds/looks KILLER. Then I buy this muttAnother Tom Anderson body {two-piece solid flame maple} mated to a 1982 Schecter one-piece Wenge neck. The neck has locking Gotoh/Kluson tuners and actually works well with the Floyd, despite the absence of a locking nut, though the neck had a behind the nut lock at one time. Great "V" profile too. Anyway, I knew I wasn't going to keep the Schecter neck on the flame Anderson body, and started looking at both of these guitars, and ultimately ended up with these new mutts! They both WAIL!!!
