The tone and huge sound of GMPs still has me intrigued these days. I couldn't pick just one but for huge warm sounds I'd go with this Explorer:



For brighter more defined tones I have a killer Roxie that I've not had time to properly photograph yet but this one may replace the Roxie atop the list soon:



It has an Alnico II Pro / '59 hybrid in the neck and a S/D EVH in the bridge, both of which sound fantastic. It's awaiting my finding time to do the Jimmy Page wiring mod.

My Fender strat is my #1.. it's black with maple fretboard, 21 frets.

My #2 is my Washburn CS780.. I don't have a pic of it yet.. I found this one on the net. It looks about the same, but mine is in black sparkle and has an awesome fretboard.. rosewood with a red flame going trough it..

My fav has got to be the ICJ100WZ I got 2 months back.


Always wanted one cuz they looked soo crazy. When it arrived I was amazed at the tone and quality of it. I was like "This is an Ibanez?" I agreed before (cant remember who said it here) that Ibanez's are usually just effect pushers with no real mojo or tone, but this one is an exception.

Dare I say it (blasphemer!) its just as good as any USA Jackson.
I dunno if its the V7 pickup itself or more the fact that it is direct mounted in the mahogany body but it sounds amazing. Such a smooth warm tone. While I have read somewhere that this model actually sounds like an Les Paul in tone comparison I cant really say for sure as I havent played a LP, but yes it has a very unique awesome tone and worth every penny. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another of these in a second.

I guess the only downside of this guitar is just getting used to the shape after being used to superstrats.

The Scalloped fretboard is GREAT!
You can play with very light touch and real fast.
I got so addicted to it and played 2weeks straight.What scared me was when I switched back to my Jackson, I had very hard time playing it because my fingers got used to play lightly..
So I put my Yngwie Strat in the case and playing my Jackson mainly again..
I try not to play it too often these days..

Those YJM Strats are the shiznit. Love mine.
