A local dealer here sells a lot of them. I've played a few, and I'd say they are right in line with every other "budget" acoustic out there, with the exception that they have some very cool looking "cosmetic" options. Overall, I think they're nice guitars for the money.My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am. -
yeah the place where my luthier works is a Dean dealer. they have a number of Dean acoustics, I don't like how they look, mostly. too modernistic for me. but they play nice enough.the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their livesComment

I've got a Key Largo, its very nice but I wish I had gotten a rosewood backed model. The Key Largo is extremely bright because its all maple. But at least its made of real wood not some craptastic composite. For what they cost you would be hard pressed to find a better acoustic though.Comment
