  • AGILE guitars... Anybody with experince/feedback about them?

I'm seriously thinking about picking up a doubleneck version of one, but it's over the internet and I haven't played it.
I've heard of them, but never really looked into them, Harmony-Central.com had some good reviews on the, but I've learned alot surfing around these boards for you guys so I'd like to hear anything from the people here if possible.

I have an Agile 2000 Les Paul copy...with the Tigereye top.

Out of the box it was a good guitar. Now, after a pickup replacement and a full pot replacement, it is a very good guitar.

I have tried a bunch of pickups in mine. I had a Jazz in the neck, swapped that for a 490R. I had my Duncan EVH style Hybrid in the bridge, but I found it likes my Duncan Designed HB-102 even better...go figure.

They are well made guitars, and with a little upgrade they really shine. A friend has a 3000 and his is bone stock and also is great as is.

I would, and probably will, buy another. I am just waiting for them to come out with something like an Ash or Swamp Ash bodied LP copy......which they probably never will!!

I was thinking of trying either one of their SG knockoffs, one of their Juniors or one of their 335 ripoffs....or maybe a Floyded LP.

They are great bang for the buck guitars.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

I have an AL3000 and I have left it stock, because it's great the way it is. The AL3000 (stock) through my Marshall DSL gives an nice Slash-ish kinda tone.

Once I have more money, will definitely buy more from them.

I have an AL 2000 and love it. Best bang for the buck Paul clones IMO.

Just go to HC and start an "Agile's Suck" thread and watch the fireworks LOL!

Good bang for the buck? Of course/no doubt.

But I'll stick to Gibsons and Jacksons.

Ha Ha, sorry about the spelling oops...

Don P. I'm sure it won't compare to my Gibson LPs, but I'm looking at the doubleneck they have, I'm thinking of picking it up and then eventually putting a piezo in each neck so I can jump in/out of songs during a gig without pause.
I can't justify paying the $$$ for a Gibby 1275 and then modifying it.

That seems like a good purpose for these - tweak them/hack them, and if it doesn't turn out good, no big loss.

I'm thinking of a Lynch Bengal LP, LOL!

I have the AL-2000 with the Floyd. It is a very good guitar and compares to my Gibson's. The workmanship is very good. I will be installing a Fernandez Sustainer (they are on back order everywhere) soon and it will be my cheapo Neil Schon Signature Model! I saved $9,500 by doing this over buying the Gibson. Now that's an investment

Seriously, the fret work is very good and leveled. The hardware is very good as well as the stock pickups. The control cover plates do not match a Les Paul exactly as I wanted to replace the cheap Korean plastic ones. No biggie I'll make my own. That's really the only gripe I have. Overall for the money it's a really nice quality guitar. Purchasing a foreign made guitar is a first because I buy American when I can. These are just too good to pass up.

I have my AL-3000 I like it much like others here, I'm letting it go to fund something else but tone & Playabillty is great on these guitars . I might keep mine because getting a gibson like this would cost me a small fortune. Have no worries with an Agile, just go for it.

Agiles are decent guitars and they are great for $300 guitars.

Just remember, they are $300 guitars.
