I posted a thread about a EBMM luke I played a while back. It was the perfect guitar for me. Everything just sort of sunk into place. It was really quite cool to play a guitar that did that for me after having to sell off all my Jacksons. So I called my buddy who works at the local GC where I played it pretty much out of the blue to see if they still had it.. THEY DID! I was surprised and so I asked him how long he could put it on layaway for and he said as long as I need. I went in today, put some money down, and will be picking it up at the end of June when I get back from my honeymoon. Obligatory guitar porno will follow.
Its a black Lukather with standard trem... no piezo or nothin. My friend gave me a good price on it (I ended up taking him out to lunch for it too lol!) and overall everything went well. If I did not have a close high school friend working at guitar center, I would not give them a cent of my money.
I took some very bad quality cell phone pics to keep myself occupied until I can pick it up.
It is the first guitar I have bought and paid for solely on my own and will most likely be the last for a while.. That means I am no longer part of the Jackson clan, although I will proudly tell my kids and their kids about the Jacksons that got away. They make great guitars, but I have really found my calling in the Luke. Besides, if I am not mistaken there should be two guys around here who are playing the axes I had to sell and getting more out of them than I ever did.
