Is when you find a guitar for the right price, perfect options, everything great, except for ONE problem...
Its like those wanting a JAckson with a reverse head, or wanting a Jackson with one small feature that needs a doubled custom shop price
In my case, it's Carvin guitars....
they have everything. Great options, nice styles, choice of color, etc, all for a price that a new USA JAckson cant touch.
Except the fact that they use a unique scale that I dont agree with. I have owned 2 carvin guitars for short periods, and both tiumes my hands werent ready for the 25" scale. The necks were great, and the guitars were well built with great fret work. But my big clumsy fiungers that are used to a longer scale and feel more comfy there didnt agree. Carvin wont go 25.5 on their DC series, so im screwed. JAckson cant make the guitar I want unless it's custom shop, and thats REALLY $$$ and not in my budget.
It's really frustrating when these companies are so close, yet you cant gt that perfect guitar unless you're willing to spend 3k plus on a fully custom unit, and have the patience to wait a year for it.
Pleas eshare your other frustrating examples so I dont feel so bad
