Thanks everyone! The serial number starts at #B6.... I'll post it when I get home from work. Its got the fast gunslinger neck. The trem says BC Rich on it. Its got the mini grover tuners. The guy I bought it from had a Class Axe Wraith (also very rare) that he sold. I was working 3rd shift one night browsing on E-Bay and BOOM! Used the "Buy It Now" option. It also came w/ a form fit hardshell case. I speak to Bernie Jr. every so often and want to ask him about it. It has typical scratches and dings...

hmm. i've been through a lot of bcr's in my time but never saw a V with standard pointed-6 headstock. i've seen it with asm and reversed, apart from all the recent one's with that stupid widow h/s. the latter are often snapped up by teenagers spending £300+ from their student loans. ick.

sounds about right for just pre Class Axe, from what ive seen class axe guitars start around those #'s. from what ive seen B7xxx-B9xxx were the last of the pre class axe guitars, the serials for boltons were not completely sequential more like batchs. ive seen a few of those Vs around, im pretty sure they changed the tips & some other things with that shape over the yrs ut couldnt tell u the progression. BTW almost all USA BCR boltons have that same neck shape whether its a reverse headstock or regular.

i wondered why all the nj ironbirds i went though looked different. seems all the dimensions changed every time they were re-issued - neck join, wing tips, front horn, the lot.

I don't understand why it hasn't sold yet... I think my asking price is very reasonable.

I would buy it, but I am a neck-thru/set-neck snob.

I keep looking at it. How does it play?

I have recently found that I am a 1 5/8 nut guy..which has changed alot of my desires in guitars.

if i had some extra cash, i would hit it. doesnt seem like an unreasonable price at all.

As long as it doesn't have a broken feel to it.
