That looks great! Can I ask how much $ and how many hours do you have into it? Oh and who supplied the wood? Thanks

        Thanks guys!
I actually don't know how much time I have into it, I worked on it here and there after work over a period of a couple months. I stumbled onto the wood at a local wood store, so I nabbed what they had left. Not really sure what I have into it, not a lot since I did all the work, painted it, and wound the pickups myself. Probably no more than 3 bills at the most.

very nice work. I even like your headstock design, which is something you can't say about too many builders these days

ps. that headstock inlay should say "Dayum!"
                        Hail yesterday

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

Work for Gibby? Not with kooky Henry running the show. LOL

I just tinker with this stuff as a hobby, do occasional repairs for the locals, and that is fine with me. Once you do something like this as a profession, it takes all the fun out of it. I'm building another one slowly, hope to have it done by this fall.

I don't know what else to say about the fiddle except the bridge is a Nashville, the stop tail is a Gibson aluminum tail with Tonepros studs. Gotoh tuners. Bone nut. I took the rubber rings off some Peavey knobs and machined a groove into some old Gibson speed knobs and used them on those. Modded a Gibson amber switch tip for the 5 way. I just wanted a simple, yet versatile guitar. It's more or less like an old Gibson LP Special, but with Limba wood and humbuckers.

That is outfuckingstanding, man. You have an amazing talent there and I think you need to share it with everyone. Well, I think you need to share it with me. That is just absolutely badass. How much to build one for someone else?

Sweet!! Reminds me a little of a Gibson Blues Hawk.

Missed this post somehow bro.... Kept scrolling up to the pics. I agree about the headstock as well, very cool. The first thing i thought of when i saw it was an LP that's had an extreme makeover.

Congrats on the guitar again man, i'm sure it plays and sounds as good as it looks..
