My UV777BK made a bit of a believer out of me. Great quality and a very solid player. I had disliked all previous Ibby's I had tried.

Some cool Ibanez's posted but Ibanez needs to loose the monkey grip. It always looked goofy to me.

                Pre-Prestige, Pre-Monkey Grip.
The black one was purchased from a forum bro, while the white one was a NJ custom shop neck made for Joe Satriani back in the day.
One of three (ebony out of the rosewood/maple/ebony group that was sent out to S.F. to Joe when he first became a sponsor).
I've owned it for over 20 years.
                Still kicks ass too.

I was a total Jackson head in the 80's. Owned an SL-1, 92 Stealth Pro,model 5 Charvel and my 90 US Fusion. But as time went on I fell more in love with Ibanez (Because the 80s-90s USA Jacksons are so damn hard to find and expensive.)

I developed tendinitis and had to sell my SL-1. The Wizard necks are perfect for me now and I have no problem getting a great Lynch tone out of my rig with all my axes. A shredders delight.

                          Mike wow is that sweet!

the little buttons are a preset system.
the one closest to the neck activates the buttons
three in the middle are on/off for each of the pickups
the one farthest from the neck is a coil split for the Humbucker

Just gives you the option of having different pre-selected combinations, plus a couple you wouldn't get with just the 5-way (neck + HB, all three).

The Prolines are my favs as far as Ibanez goes.
