BC Rich Rave series

This pawn shop near me has a BC Rich Rave series. Some kind of strat style model. They want $145 out the door for it. I dig the shape and the color (an incredibly gay shade of purple) but apparently these are some cheapass guitars. Any current/former owners want to chime in on value?
