I had been wondering how those Xaviere guitars were. I'm a big Zemaitis fan...but who can afford a real one? So I really like the look of the inlay pearl top Xaviere's.
I'm glad to hear that they play good.
I'm kind of disappointed that the Zemaitis family would allow these new Z guitars to happen. To me it goes against the tradition of the originals.....handbuilt guitars....made by one guy....Tony Z himself.
There is a guy in New Jersey named Rob Mondell that builds fantastic guitars. His are called Justin Sain guitars....They are truly in the spirit of original Z guitars....Les Paul inspired designs....handbuilt by Rob.....mahogany with metal tops, but with less ornate engraving.
I should be receiving my first one next week.
