  • My new GMP V

Looks pretty cool, no idea on the top wood, Koa? Looks like abalone binding too. A little pricey maybe, we'll see...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120005286039

Pretty, I was looking for a groovy GMP, but bought something else yesterday.

We need better pics of this!

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

        Snoozing Travis.

Congrats on a very cool score, looks more like flamed koa than maple.

Cool V, and Wes Borland - really?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Cool. Is it tuned down to A with super heavy gauge strings? :ROTF:

That's a great price for such a cool GMP. Great score, bro!

I'm actually kinda glad I was in meetings all day and missed it...I would've been beating myself up over whether or not to buy it.

As for the Borland thing, I think it's kinda cool. Just don't have him sign it. How do you know it's him?

He's been absolutely cool. He was real curious how I knew it was his, then I told him I saw his name on the PayPal invoice. His reply..."Duh". He said it would have been lame to reveal it was his. I agree, and commend him for selling it without that claim, though he probably doesn't need the $$ either. He's got a Yamaha signature guitar coming out too. His new band is Black Light Burns. Check them out here if your so inclined...http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=36794676
