Sanctuary, Yeah I'll post some pics when I get it back. It arrived on Weds. came from Florida. Got to quickly assess it during my lunchbreak and decided I better take it to the local shop for a looking over and a setup.

I'm dying to get it back to try it out. It has a BC RICH licensed Floyd and I believe its an 96' model. Black guitar, neckthru , ebony board with just the spear inlays on the 12th fret and 2 emg 81's.

I'm curious myself to find out more about it as I had never even seen this model before. It looked and sounded like it was on par with a Jackson Soloist in quality and materials, that and I really dug the shape so I hit the "buy it now" button. I'm hoping it was an worthwhile gamble.

Hell yeah Sanctuary, that is it. I once had an early BC Rich Bich with that headstock. Damn I may have to buy the Custom Shop Warlock anyway. I have allways wanted one, but I am very specific on the details and I have only seen 1, possible 2 anywhere near it.

          Awesome man.

Admittedly, I also have a '96 Mock with that same "licensed" trem. Probably the worst Floyd I've ever come across. I really want to swap it out with an OFR.

I'd love an Ignitor...one day. Missed out on one on the bay for just over $800 with an OFR a while back.

          Keep us up to date.

You had a Bich with that headstock? Do you have any pics? Sounds interesting.

hows the neck on your Stealth is it thin or kinda meaty like an soloist neck?
Also wish there was just the big "R" on the headstock on the Ignitor rather then the script "BC RICH" those "R"'s look sweet.

Here is my Bich. What you can't see is the whole body was Quilted maple. Also the DiMarzios were custom made for this guitar. It sounded increadible.

very cool bich, & with that headstock a real rarity. the dimario's werent custom made for BCR, Neal & possible someone else over at BCR put different leads on them so they seem custom but it was done by BCR not dimarzio. thats an easy way to tell if the pickups were changed on BCR's, tho they stopped doin that around 84ish.

In the neck pocket on that guitar it said they were made just for that guitar. I wish I had a picture of that, but I did not know back then to do that.

Stealth necks are thin. Very much like my RR1. Not like a Soloist. I've been told by BCR that they will not be putting the "R" logo on pointy headstocks any more, so it makes my black Stealth kind of rare. And I agree with you totally.

                        Neck pocket? You mean it's a bolt-on?

I see you posted it over on BCR. Very interesting guitar!

Sorry, my fault I ment the pickup routes. The bottom of the pickups and the bottm of the pickup routes said the same thing I think-that these pickups were made for this guitar. It was writen in marker and it looked like it was under the clear coat. It was dated there too, I forgot the date thought.

That's the last thing I'll ever be purchasing from BCR...

ack!! I love that Stealth!!!! Are the specs close to Chuck Shuldiners?

Kind of. His had a Rosewood board, single X2N, Badass bridge, and no tone control. My one has the Quad bridge, tone control and an Ebony board. I have since upgraded it to an X2N. Oh yeah, count the number of frets. You might be surprised. It also doesn't have the script logo on the headstock, which I never liked anyway.

You want to know the truth? The truth is that even BCR themselves do not know the specs on the guitars he ordered. They've lost the records. They make an educated guess when people ask to have a replica guitar built.
