Ok... I might be off here....

I played two exact same models that were pretty much the same as what you have there down at guitar center. I believe they have a double skunk stribe down the back of the neck. One was a ok instrument and the second one make me double think the reason why I was there in the first place(To pick up a soloist.) I really liked it. It was a all natural finish so, it was probably a RGA121. The only problem with it was that it had a gnarly dent in the back of the neck which was a complete dealbreaker. Very nice instrument and a excellent player if you run into a good one.

I love those as well.....truth be told I have owned 3 times as many Ibanezes as Jacksons and they all played great. I like that new gibralter bridge as well. To me it feels like a Floyd but is fixed. Good Score.

yeah, i like the look of these bridges more than those Fixed-Floyded types on the Mick Thompson and JS2000 models.

man those guitars are sweet...but i think they are priced a tad too much.

Yeah I think the RGA121 is reasonable at $900 but, $1,500 for only 3 differences (flame maple instead of maple, finish, and better pups) is crazy!

They are not the right pickups for the guitar. Sound great don't get me wrong... but, I hear something else. The JB sounds great for single note playing... I need something a little different for chording and the '59 doesn't have enough output for this guitar (I have '59's in two other guitars and they're great but, not for this application). Going to stick my spare Wolfgang pickups in it.

That's an interesting combo. The one complaint I hear from a lot of Wolfgang owners though is that the bridge pu is nice but a one-trick pony and the neck pu is useless (their words, not mine. never owned a Wolfgang).

Part of the reason might be the inability to adjust the pickup height without using shims in a Wolfgang. I hear the pickups are loosely based on the Tone Zone and Air Norton (which I have on a J. Custom and LOVE!).

No, just a cool large bridge design with a low profile.

I agree on the Tone Zone. I've got one in the Charvel Solar I just picked up and it sounds incredible.
