Years ago I owned another first year Classic, #0 0165. Never should have sold it. Just picked this one up, and it's dripping with Goldtop goodness. All stock, except the removed paint on the back of the neck.
I regret to this day selling my 1995 les paul classic, it was my first real les paul and damn did it sound good! But out of stupidity i was trying to convince myself to get away from thin necks, now i am back to them and wish i still had that guitar.
Trace, are you implying it's the camera, not the photographer? Would not George Lynch still sound great, even if playing a Teisco? :ROTF: Nah, it's the camera {or 50/50 me and the camera}...Sony H5. I've had 5 Sony digital cameras and every one worked flawlessly. Appx. $399.00 plus $100.00 for a 2 gb card, a few sets of re-chargeable AA's, and your good to go. Tips: I prefer natural lighting, rarely use a flash, overcast days are best, close-ups need lots of light.
