*NEW* 80's ESP Strathead

Finally getting around to posting my newest acquisition, a mid-80's ESP Strathead (my best guestimate anyway).

I think it may be built of parts, but that's cool....it has a early (?) serialized plate which say ESP and 04XX for a serial.

I am a major White Lion/Vito Bratta fan...and acquired a Steinberger GM-4T last year from Twisteramps....and now have the ESP Strathead to kinda complete my Vito shrine.

The guitar has a old Floyd (screw in bar), Duncan Custom-5 pup, and Vol/Tone with a thick-ass black guard. It was originally v-tem modded to Floyd.

Thanks for the comments...it's a very cool guitar...plays VERY well....and seems to be of very high quality.

The neck has a HUGE profile...very similar to a Charvel Holdsworth....

It sounds great...big sound...and I'm digging the Custom-5 pup....

The Steinberger is a very cool guitar also...the Transtrem makes for some interesting ideas...
