  • Splawn Guitars?

Anyone know anything? I've checked out the website but there's no mention of a guitar brand to go with the amps.....

If I understand your question, you are looking for a Splawn guitar? Scott has build some in the past with painter buddy Dave Mansel. They were called "80's Something guitars" (unlabeled). I don't believe Scott is making them anymore, most likely concentrating on amps. Dave, however is still making them and does finishing as well as finishing for McNaught.

Splawn Guitars is actually the name of Scott's store in NC - I was unaware that there were actual Splawn-branded guitars at one time. I know there is a link to Mansel Guitars on the Splawn website, and I get the impression that a lot of work for Splawn amps, Mansel, and McNaught guitars is happening at the same shop.

It's probably a pretty fun place to work!
