Some GMPs do have fatter necks. One of my Roxies and both of my Doublecuts have fatter neck profiles.

That extreme close-up is magnifying the perceived flaws regarding the inlay. To the naked eye I'll bet it looks fine.

I agree, I thought it was due to the closeup too. That is actually an acceptable tolerance for a non filler job.

Wasn't a lot of their inlay work done by Ron Thorn? Shouldn't be too shabby.

Edit: of course I guess it's probably not very likely that he shot the sparkle for these particular inlays.

Come to think of it, compared to the ones you've posted, the inlay on this one really doesn't look like GMP's work. Maybe, this one was done when Ron ran out of coffee..hehehehehe

Btw, how many "bloody" GMPs do you have now? And are you in Chicago now?
