Big Al , The "stars Iceman" is the ICJ100WZ (J. Yuenger White Zombie guitarist sig.) I can not say enough good things about this model it has tone like no other Ibanez I have played. The bridge pickup could be hotter, but the neck pick sounds great IMO with the Mahogany construction.

In the past I thought of Ibanez's as just low to mid range processor pushers. This model proved to me that they could actually make a higher quality guitar that had real tone.
Now I see why they go for $2k and up. But I would have to buy another if anything ever happened to this one.

Always wanted a Jem FP (blue if I had the choice) but have yet to even try one out.

I miss some of the old bright paint jobs aswell. always wanted something with the lime-ish neon green or neon orange ( firealarm red was it called?)

a PII with one of those finishes would truely rock.

I think it's called Road Flare Red. The yellow was Desert Yellow. I'm not sure what the green was called. I always see it as abbreviated as LNG (Loch Ness Green?).

                OK...Excuse my Ibanez ignorance....but is this a 540PII ??

                Is this rare..sought after...expensive??

The reason I ask.....I guy that I used to play in a band with years ago had what I believe is this same guitar in the same purplish finish.

He probably still has it & probably doesn't play it.

Although I think I remember his having a little block inlay...either at the 12th or 24th fret that said "Limited Edition".

I also think I remember him referring to it as an Alex Skolnick model...or something???

Does any of this make sense??

                    that's about right.

it's one of the rarest ibanez body shapes

Bsteff go offer your friend $100 for his PII ( Actually yeah I'm not sure how much they go for these days but since they are rare alot of people are gassing for one) They seem to go for atleast $700 and up.

I only have one Ibanez now and i havnt played it for a couple of years!might drag it out from storage some time.I have a JS 90th model and there great guitars! The crome effect comes off the pickups when you play it for a while. The neck is amazing on it,they digitaly modelled Joes favourite neck to get it exactly the same as his best ones.Very thin and slippery ebony board with no fret markings apart from the 90th aniversery marking up high.Realy feels like the parker Flys to play but has more weight to it..lol
Picks ups are very well suited, that fred realy cleans up overdriven chords allowing each note to ring.Coil tapping too, very versatile axe
