I had a taylor, lost it in a divorce. DOH. Totally happy with my USA Guild though, and I also have a simon and patrick 12 string that is awesome, especially for the bucks. Seagull makes a great guitar too if you can get past the headstock.

entry level Yamaha. An F310, IIRC. It's a fun old box that I can bash on without guilt. Don't play it often, but now that the weather is warming up here, I will. Was just sitting at my outdoor setting with a few beers & the Yammy this afternoon.
      Hail yesterday

By the way, my Sovereign only cost me $20.:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF:

I know what you mean. They were cheap but somehow they sound good. Some of them were even well made.

Yeah they were. Every newer acoustic guitar I have played, including a newer Martin, sounds way too bright. The sound you hear from the old blues players is way more bassy. That's the sound that my old "cheap" guitars make. I can pick up an old Stella and get the same sound. It amazes me how quickly I can start playing from inside because the sound is just like the old guys and not John Denver.:ROTF: :ROTF:
I am a true ass set to this board.

I have a Laredo classical (my first guitar) and an Eagle western guitar.
Bought them in the local shop of the little town I lived in back then.
Not expensive guitars, but to me they sound good. The Eagle especially, I love that one and don't plan to ever buy another acoustic.
That said, I don't play acoustic very often, but if I do I always grab the Eagle.
The last time I used it extensively was when I took it with me on vacation in May.

I have a Martin DXME Dreadnought. I love it. I alternate between playing acoustic and electric every day.
