Hellraiser 7 is on my list for guitars I will eventually pick up. How'd you pull it off at $600?? Good price, if you ask me.

Schecter 7-strings rock! I've got a 007 Elite (the H/S version instead of the H/H) and I really dig it. I got it last year from MF for $519.99. They normally go for $599.99, but I found it on another site and they matched the price. The Duncan Design pups it came with weren't bad sounding, just a little weak in the gain department, so I changed them to a Duncan Custom in the bridge and DiMarzio Blaze single in the neck. It sounds awesome now.

They cost about 1300$ new here. I refuse to pay that much for a guitar.

Congrats, that's a nice guitar! How do you like the longer scale? Does the low B sound better than on your m-207? I had an Ibanez 7-string with the shorter 25,5" scale, and the sound of the low B was a little disapointing.

Same here. I'll probably score a 7-string Hellraiser from eBay, it's cheaper even with the taxes and shipping. The recent Nevermore gig I went to got me gassing for a 7-string, and the Hellraiser 7 seemed to do it's job pretty nicely in the hands of Jeff Loomis

when you saw Nevermore was Jeff playing a hellraiser with a floyd on it?
I've seen some clips with him playing one and I hope they release it as the "Loomis" model soon.
I want it and I want it now

The floyded hellraiser is just a standard guitar with an ofr-7 on it I think, he currently is playing a standard hr live though. I'd expect a NAMM announcement of the Loomis sig, cant wait!

IIRC, Loomis played both the standard HR and the floyd rose equipped one, so he definitely has one with a floyd. And yeah, a seven string Hellraiser with a floyd would probably sell like hot cakes. I prefer a tune-o-matic though.

Congrats Nick! On the guitar and your girl, she's a cutie. Mine turns two in November (terrible twos coming soon...). That looks like a sweet guitar but I'm not familiar with it so I checked the specs on MF. Nice! Mahogany, XJ frets, real EMGs, etc. After thinking about a 7 for a while you've really jumped in, you've already got 2 and want a custom GMW. I still have my Washburn 7 but have hardly touched it in the last year or more. I bought it 2 1/2 years ago to bash out some nu-metal crap like Korn, POD, System, etc. but I just don't play that stuff anymore (unless I'm having an off day -lol).
