i bought one of those and put a JB junior in it. i replaced the tuners with vintage fender tuners. it sounded pretty good. it wouldn't intonate at all. sounded okay on the top frets but you moved down lower it was wicked out of whack!!! i recorded a couple of solos on it then gave it to my brother when he went to iraq.
GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
That looks like that toy guitar that Bruce Baum (comedian) would take on stage....he'd strum this totally cheesy power chord while holding it up to the mike and yell in a faux Brit punk accent "Rock & roll ya pukes!"
I just got it and it's actually kinda neat. Acrylic body. It's a 20 inch scale. The nut is 1 5/8". The neck is adult size which makes no sense for a kid's guitar. It's more like a travel guitar. Seems to intone alright. All in all, $30 wasn't a total waste.:ROTF:
I got to get one of those for travelling, or travelling around the house and not denting the Explorer points walking thru doorways. OUCH. Good to keep handy beside the couch etc. but, my kids would just want me to give it to them
