I'm thinking I might order one of the SG knockoffs for my son.

Okay, so after hearing how people were having some issues with their Kramer Customs I was a little worried that mine would have the same issues. Well, my guitar got here friday and a day early too. I just finshed playing it for about 30 min and let me say this has to be the best $200 that I have ever spent.

I was figured if I didn't like it my son could give it to my son once he got older. Well let me say my son will probably still get the guitar but he is getting an awesome starter guitar. I was pretty amazed with the sustain and pinch harmonics were amazing. Actually, made me feel like a better player.

I only played out straight out of the box but it could use a slight lowering of the action, nut much but still very playable out of the box. No fret buzz whatsoever. The top on mine is also not really a top but a slightly thicker that average veneer and is perfectly center between the D and G string. No real issues with the exception of some slight yellowing of the binding which is minimal. Check the pics I took outside.

      Damn, I love this Interweb.

Wow, that really looks nice. Certainly worth the money. How are the pickups?

I had one in amber like krimson's.
It was a good guitar, definately worth 200 bucks, the pickups are very decent but the bridge one could use a little more output.

Finish is on par with 500 bucks guitars, pretty damn good value for the money. The only thing that bothered me is that it went out of tune easily sometimes.

The pickups are okay. I would keep them if I could get a decent clean sound. Looks like I will be putting an SD JB in the bridge and a 59' in the neck. To me the pickups are too hot and sound overly compressed, which is why I can't seem to get a good clean sound. I will say that the pickups sound awesome on my Triple Rec channels 2 and 3 but the clean is no where near where it could be.

The guitar was a steal for the price. This guitar has the best sustain of all my guitars, bar none, including my PRS Custom 22 and 24. If I had the cash and they were still available I would buy another.
