I've always wanted to ask, how is the build quality on these Boogie guitars? Yah, nice specs and all on their stuff, but is there any flaws (finish, hardware, etc.) anywhere? Also, how's the neck profile, or is it pretty generic? Very cool lookin guitar though man, congrats. That dealer has a lotta cool stuff coming out, I just wanted to hear first hand from someone other than the guys on that board

Cool guitar. Washburn guitars are great and the idol is the only single cut model I like

I've got a boogiebolt and love it. Boogie Street is an awesome place, they take very good care of their customers. I have absolutely no problems whatsoever with the BSG guitars I've had. I've owned three guitars from BSG but only still have one:

I think it its a great build quality. I am a picky bastard and go over these things in the sunlight real close up. The only thing I could find is that the ebony is just a tad bit light in color. Although the same as my KV2...and the board is a bit dry.....lemon oil coming soon! Neck profile I would say is somewhere between a PRS wide fat and a thin jackson. Scale is 24 and 3/4 like a les paul I believe. Plays and sounds just great

I really wanted one of those, but as usual never had the cash at the time of the run...

The Scott Ian model is a "Diablo".

An "El Diablo" is a different pickup.

There seems to be some confusion. That's really weird how they're calling this pup the El Diablo now. I know I read there were two different pups on the Duncan board at one time.

                        Here's a couple threads about it. http://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/s...ott+Ian+Diablo
"i have a custom shop pickup its an iommi/diablo hybrid. when i called and talked to MJ about what i wanted she told me there was a difference between the el diablo and the ian diablo. it is a high out put pickup but does have a pafish tone. i had mine matched with a jazz neck they worked pretty good together. the only problem was the jazz didnt have enough output haha. mine is 21.4k. MJ never told me what specs she took from each pickup but i must say its my favorite duncan that i have owned so far. if you are interested in something like that i am putting mine up for sale in the trading post in my guitar and pickups for sale thread. if i had a humbucker guitar i would keep it for sure but i dont see me getting one anytime soon."

Fear not! Aroudn december the second run is coming which will be all black with the bolts. Then a third run probably around march which is identical to the first run which I have. Also coming are the southern cross imports!

You're kidding?!?!? Oh dear god... Who wants to buy some guitars?

Edit: I just got emailed back by Boogie Street... Eric offered to subsidise almost half of the huge UPS costs to NZ... I find that real decent. May have to get in line to get one.
