Ibanez plans to introduce next year a couple of pointy-shaped neck-thru models as well...

        Doesn't mean I ain't thinking it

I'm not sure if I agree. How long have Fender been making Strat-shapes? Hell, Jackson have been making Soloists for longer than Ibanez have been making the RG/Jem styles. If it ain't broke....

So in his picture you only see a shape similarity with the dk2m?

I'm pretty sure Ibanez had a model like that in the mid 90s, a friend of mine had something like it.

not sure, but I remember the RG565(?) which had the maple board and dots to match the body colour

what's the issue here? a white strat with maple board and black hardware? big whoop.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Well, yes - but I also see just another of the myriad incarnations of the RG shape that they've been doing since the year dot. I had one with exactly the same configuration, board and inlays, albeit it blue, back in 1994 (RG770DX) I don't really know what your point is....

I love the old 770's. Killer guitars. Nice to see them bringing it back.

That's a 350...lower-end and made in Korea. However, I would also like to see them bring back the 750/770.

I think the issue was a maple board with black sharkie like inlays.
Looks similar to a white DK2M.
