I have never owned a Guild F512. However, I did own a JF65 forever. The F512 has rosewood back and sides and a flat back. The JF65 had flame maple back and sides with an arched back.

And I got rid of it because of bad problems with my hands - I could no longer play the guitar for more than 10 minutes without my hand cramping miserably. I then bought a limited Taylor 354 L7.
