I have so many guitars that I love.....but as far as ones that I really play the hell out of....and really feel like I couldn't play live without...it has to be my "Fucker" relic parts mutt.

my white Gibson Flying V, ebony board and a JB in the bridge.
it's everything I always dreamed it would be.

the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Amps... well.. thats a different story.
I'm with John here. There aren't really any guitars that mean much to me after I was forced to sell off several guitars that I was once VERY attached to due to a bad finacial situation. I had a 1964 Gibson Firebird V in SG Cherry red finish, which was almost unheard of as they only did about 10 guitars out of each model in cherry and in black.
After that...I don't get attached. They come and go like the breeze, and I could usually care less.

Well, there are two guitars I have that I feel this way about. The first is my Jackson King V Pro... as I've said before they will bury me with that guitar. But since this is the "other guitars" section of the site, I'd have to say the one axe I'd hate to part would be my flip flop blue Kramer Baretta II. I yanked the JB outta this thing and put in a Jackson J-90C and let me tell you its SICK sounding. Sustain for days.... it's love I tell ya! Love!!

I won't let go of my first guitar, which was a gift from my mom almost 18 years ago. It's a red JB Player strat that I never play and rarely look at. Even when I thought I'd lost interest in guitar and sold all my original gear, I kept that one.

The love of my life is an Ibanez RG3120DR... don't know what I'd do without it. A close 2nd is my Jackson Solosist SL2H (Snakeskin graphic).

I had to let this one go but was lucky to get it back after a year. Hopefully it will stay with me for a long time.

My favorite, without question, is my 1989 Heartfield by Fender EX-1 in Mystic White. Excellent guitar in so many ways !! It has active electronics, built-in boost, great Gotoh trem & tuners and a great pearl-like finish. The action is superb, the trem a joy and the sound like no other guitar I own. I have about 35 or so, so that says alot I think !!

Luv ya Pearl !!! (that's what I call her !)

                      Behold !!!!
