Jacksonaxes is correct. It's a real soundhole. The AC175 is a semi-hollow design. The body is hollowed out like a real acoustic - most of the way there, but not completely so. It's a real nice compromise between the projection and tone of a full thick-bodied acoustic, and the playability of an electric. A very cool and versatile design.

that's about the best looking Carvin I've seen. I like that HS much better than their pointy one.
