  • Epi LP Goth ?

Didn't the Epi Goth LP come with a Floyd?
None of the online dealers have them in stock.
    Anyone know why this is?

Does anyone have experience with this model,
or any other LP-type guit. with a Floyd? I've
wondered how the angled neck of a LP interacts
with a Floyd. Does the bridge need to be
mounted extra high to match the neck angle?

The built-in neck angle is mainly to overcome the arched top of the body, so no, the floyd won't be mounted super high. If you want a floyded LP type guitar though, your best bet is Agile.

Some did, just like the Goth Explorer. It seems very hard to find both models with Floyds now for some reason.

yeah there did used to be a floyd lp goth, but i think the standard lp goth has just been revamped with emgs? so maybe they're gonna revamp it in a bit as well so they've ceased production ready for the new batch?

i've got the goth explorer with a floyd and i don't use it...the floyd that is

compard to my esp and my (hopefully) future jackson, the floyd is too thick to use

the baseplate is very thick and kinda stiff

i saw an epi lp w/ floyd at american musical...they've probably got it

They dropped the floyd version a little while ago. I had one, sold it on ebay, was only able to get $255 for it (and the case cost me $50). I played it at one gig, didn't really do much for me, so I got rid of it. There's better LP shapes w/floyds out there than this one. To answer one of your questions, you'll note the floyd is recessed.
