Not too bad actually. I mean it's a ton of money but not as expensive as I expected.

I spoke with Karl about one a few years back -seemed like a nice guy- but took an early GMW instead as they weren't that expensive on the 2nd H market then.. didn't regret that choise..

Btw, didn't he made a small batch of the Harpoon V not so long ago?

Well I got this Sandoval for about the same price as GMW.

interesting; from what i've heard over the years, karl starts out at around 5 large. glad to hear that he's found some sanity.

Well that is correct he did start out at 5,000. I think this is a rare deal. I can't wait for this to come though. I've wanted this guitar since I started playing 3 years ago. Considering I play a good 6 hours a day I'm thinking of saving for another guitar(probably a San Dimas) after I get a bit more money towards G.I.T i really want a Charvel though considering I have 2 Jacksons.

Yah, no kidding. What's it take to build a guitar, a few of days right?

BTW, Karl looks like a clone from the old guy, head cheese on Orange County Choppers.

We just got one in at work used and its killer. the huy who took it in caled karl and said he was a really cool guy and the guitar was legit. And theat it was sold for 5,500 when new. So maybe karl did find some sanity or somebody held a gun to his head. Or was it a harpoon headstock?
