  • My new Ibanez.

This sucker has been all over the world. Originally an Ibanez RG521. It was customized at LGM Guitars. New LGM neck, ebony board, etc... Evo and Air Norton, this sucker kills. The neck is LGM custom made, with a wizard profile, dunlop 6100 frets, big fat slice of perfectly black ebony for the board. (No markers) It's of a 2 piece, scarf joint construction and the maple is quartersawn. The back of the neck is raw, unfinished maple.
The bridge pickup is a dimarzio Evolution, and the neck pickup is an Air Norton. Tuners are Kluson sealed. Knobs and switch tip are the original dimarzio ones used on the 777's. The bridge is from the 521 that this guitar is based on. The color is SHOCKING PINK.
It came from Shropshire. UK around 2004
It is also pictured in the paint booth at the LGM Guitar website before it was put together. http://www.lgmguitars.com/about/shop_tour.html Here are some pics:

I never heard of LGM until today. Apparently, they are hooked up with Herc Fede and EKG which all specialize in custom Ibanez work. The custom made LGM neck on this guitar is outstanding. Its a nice addition to my stable of guitars.

Jeremy at LGM is well known on JEMSITE and produces some cool stuff as you can see, well connected too.

I think I may know that guitars previous owner, or have seen one similar over here.

That was mine! I had Jeremy send me all the bits a few years ago, then I screwed it all together and wired it up.
Nice to see it again, hope you're enjoying it!

nice score, i almost pulled the trigger on that when it was for sale on jemsite.
i think you have to be a good player to use a pink guitar on stage...unfortunately for me, i'm not a good player...lol

Yes you do. Some pretty decent people that don't bash everything non "Ibanez".
