  • Lynch Skull & Bones Replica

Finally...just in time for halloween...I've got this one up and running. This body was carved & painted for me by Michael Piper this summer. This is the 12th one he's done. Here's an earlier one by him in this thread:http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61198

This neck is temporary (I think). I really don't think I like the look of the maple fretboard on this....although it does make it a little different than other replicas. I have USA Custom making me the same neck with an ebony fretboard...but its taking a really long time...so I'm using this one temporarily. Its an old ESP neck....really plays fantastic. Pickup is my usual Duncan Custom 5.

This guitar sounds great...I wasn't sure if it would...but it really has great tone (I believe its alder.) I've got three shows in the next week...so this will be fun to play especially this time of year.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

VERY cool axe Brian. That guy does a nice job. I especially like the way he did the treble horn.

Congrats, Brian! Very cool looking. And as much as I love maple necks, I think the ebony fits it better.

beautiful guitar, but if you learned anything from dokken's burrning like a flame video, do not start soloing and then throw it on the ground or it will come alive and destroy everything.

Second thing we learned from that video is, don does the perfect white boy dance!
