Thanks for all the advice folks. This was (fortunately) my first issue with having something wrecked by UPS. (I'm a DHL man myself )
I called my CC compnay and did the chargeback, didn't mention it to GC, and I'll just stick the guitar off to the side until I hear from GC about it. The UPS Claims person said that "off the record" the guitar was improperly packed and that they'd be denying GC's claim. Serves dem bastards right.
