New Les Paul model!

i like the paintjob, but not the pickup combi and definately not those fugly wooden knobs

Personally I think the knobs are a neat touch. But Im not sure they really fit right. Maybe it's one of those things that just grows on you after a while.

Anyone check if these are available on MF yet?

I love it that they mixed a P90 and a humbucker but yeah I dont think this one will last long. I wish they still made the old LP Studio Doublecut from the mid-90s.

Hmmm, I understand that no guitar will be liked by everyone, but I really do like the idea of this. I am going down and ask my dealer what one of the gold ones will cost. For me, a chambered body, P90/Burstbucker combo, kill switch and no fret markers make for one cool LP. It will be light and scream like a banshee.

I just talked to my Gibson dealer and he gave more of the lowdown on the guitar. He ordered a gold one for me to check out. If it sounds good, I will grab it. Thanks for posting this, I had no idea my next guitar would be an unfinished LP.
