So that's where all the left over and damaged parts went.
    Looks like ass.

I think its one of the coolest takes on a Les Paul to come out in years. Function over form, posers!

Haven't heard anything yet, but I'd imagine somewhere along the line of the faded series... $700 to $1,000.

My dealer gave me a good price on it. E-mail me if you want to know.

And so or so I don`t like Gibsons except their acoustic (Jumbo) and
                the SG`s...
                It's a standard scale, 24 3/4.

Hey - I wrote some new ad-copy for Gibson:

"To meet the demands of their largest internet dealers, Gibson has slowly been working towards a guitar that skips the finishing and setup process entirely - and this is one step closer!

From its shoddily glued neck joint and unsanded top (with patented sticky finish) to it's ugly inlays, poorly leveled frets, and pigeon-holed body cavities, this guitar has side-stepped craftsmanship at every critical juncture! It is representative of the marriage of bean-counters and union labor, with a profit margin guaranteed to please the most unscrupulous of retail outlets!

Kudos to Gibson in collaboration with Guitar Center for producing this high dollar yule-log; its colorful flames will burn for many hours, adding warmth and joy to your holiday experience."

                      Sorry, I just couldn't resist - Mickey C.

my question is how long it'll last in the line-up.

usually their "specialty" type guitars never last too long.

but i do agree this one's pretty cool.

What gives it that rippled look, if its an unsanded top?

I'm sorry, I'm not a screw-counting freak and I could care less if my 93 LP Standard has a 60, 59, 69, or whatever neck profile. At least it has more class than this P.O.S. excuse. After seeing yet another atrocity like this, I long for the Norlin years.
