hahah.. seriously now for a moment. Why are there so many CRAP guitars??! keiper, stagg, richwood.. terrible guitars.. awefull ripped of body shapes.. I don't get it.

I know a lot of guitar players from around here, also kids who are just starting.. and even they don't buy these crap guitars.. so who does? and why are there so many of them?! ok rant over.

because you pay like 10 USD/piece when you buy a lot of 100 guitars made in China, so you're profit margin is considerable, and you're guaranteed the marketsegment for cheap copies is big enough.. those Keipers in germany fetch anywhere between 50 and 100 EUR..

+1. Some 70/80s copies aren't bad (Ibanez and some Aria Pro II's come to mind). However most now are, bluntly put, awful. However you can still find some good ones. Just have to know where to look.
