have alot to say about this one, but I will keep it brief. This popped up last week, about Wednesday, but I was headed to Atlantic city for a weekend with the boys, to see Alice in Chains and the Stones, etc...So I was pre-occupied. When I saw it, I instantly fell. I own ALOT of guitars, lets say triple digits, but had never really taken the PS plunge.
This one got me. But I figured I would grab it when I got back on Monday....Someone bought it. Sh*t.
I noticed Sharkdiver (cool guy from the Birds and moons forum) was the culprit, so I emailed to tell him "if I you ever.....", and he said "dude, if you really want it, its yours'.
How cool is that?
So what have I ended up with? One badass, black beauty. Unreal ebony board, understated class, and a real tone monster.
Interestingly enough, Wilcutts had this listed as Mccarty pickups but turns out they are 7's. I like them ALOT in this guitar. Hated them in a singlecut. Go figure.
How much do I like it? Lets just say, I called Brandon today to talk about my second.
