  • saw an Ibanez lawsuit V today

at my local GC which is undergoing massive renovation, so everything's in a different spot. I had never seen one in the flesh until today.

it was the clear finished model with the gold hardware black half pickguard and the V-string thru plate. it had been refinished and they were asking 1000 for it. :ROTF:

    Nice guitar!
Just get a Gibson logo off of Ebay, and you can turn it around for a huge profit!

J/K, but I have seen that done once....

$1000 is a good price. I tried to buy one for 1200 last year on EBAY but it went for $1400. if it's in good shape, it's a good deal.

Of course, I loved the RocketRolls mainly because Bob Mould of Husker Du played the same one for about 20 years until he switched over to a Line6 Variax. Ugh.

I know where one is for around $500.00 but the neck needs to come off and be reset other than that its sweet. Not a hard fix really I can do it I'm just too cheap to pay his asking price.Once repaired I'm sure I could get $1200.00 for it.

It's been a while since I perused this fine board, How's everybody doing? Some of you may know that I have been bitten by the Motorcycle Vampire and the guitars are gathering dust. BTMN certainly knows as he just grabbed my '97 Mahogany Standard w/ Rios that I recently got(great guitar BTW!) Sooo...

                $875.00! Go get her.

Ah, but that's a RR2, not an RR1. Huge difference in price.

paul gilbert's been seen with those recently.

then again, the guy owns all his gibson guitars in ibanez copy form.

                    oh paul.

gheez.. guess I shold have snagged when I could have. The price on a RnR SR was at about 750-900 and the RnR 2's 550's could be had at 500.00.

Those guitars rip.. mine had some stability issues in temp changes but still a great axe.

Rocket Roll SR were those models. The later models were 400-500-550 Rocket Roll II series.

Which model is Gilbert playing in this video? The part where he's sweeping with his teeth freaks me out:-/
