They are cool, in a Demon sort of way.

nice, we got our own lil 540PII club going on over here at the JCF, makes me chuckle at all the guys over at the Jemsite who are aways posting that they are looking for one, guess they arent trying hard enough.

Then once you get one you realize... hmmmm I wouldnt mind another

I'm seriously thinking of repainting mine from red to neon green, and Pebber beat me outta the Blaze orange one on "the bay". I love it in that orange.
But I figure if I'm gonna go thru and get it refinished I should do it in a color that it doesnt come in to make it more unique to me, plus I just love neon green.

And I'm glad you didnt cut up the white one you tease!

I still dont buy the cheap garage sale price though.

yeah, I've just missed out locally a 24 fret one with pickguard.. so I'm very much looking forward to actually getting one in my hands, to see how much it differs from the Jackson Demon I have..!

        btw, great pics!!

very cool. I've said it here many times before, I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing the only one I've ever seen for sale in person. It was yellow and very cool, but I put it back to walk away for a while to think about it. Of course, by the time I'd made up my mind to get it, it was gone.

That was pre-me discovering my first Jackson though, so maybe I won't be so smitten by the next one I find
          Hail yesterday

Damn nice pair! I'm going to have to find myself one of those. That's probably the coolest looking axe Ibanez ever built.

Those axes really make me miss the two Ibanez RG565's I had. Similar in that they had the reverse HS (although they were maple/maple with paint matched dot inlays) and the hum-single setup. Great players.

                          Nice guitars!

While it is a cool guitar I dont see it beating a Jackson Demon as far as quality of build and tone. That being said it is a damn fun and effortless guitar to play. The necks are still really thin but a slight bit wider so they feel abit different.

Thinking of dropping a Emg in it and seeing how much I can push the tone/crunch. Mine didnt come with the stock bridge pickup (I believe its a Dimarzio Super Distortion.) So I would be interested to here your thoughts on the stock one.

The Super D sounds pretty good in it but I could use abit more low end.
I never use single coil neck pickup its just too thin sounding.

Good luck finding a Jackson Demon. Ever. Anywhere. And the Ibanez is prolly much, much cheaper. So in that way it wins
