Flying V vs Explorer

I would go for the Explorer. Personal taste though. Play both. Make a decision from there.

Chris and I have extremely similar tastes in guitars....I say Explorer also, even though I love both.

Actually....I'll take a Firebird over either of these any day, but Explorer is the second favorite.

I don't have much experience with Explorers but have played Vs quite a bit. I really like it and would go with the V. Since the same person is selling both, just go over there, play 'em, and decide which one YOU like better.

I just pulled my 02 V98 out of the closet and played it for a couple of hrs. It has more fucking tone and soul then my J/C guitars. I love feel of the necks on my Charvels but my Gibson V through an over driven tube amp Kills!
