          Awesome guitar and story dude!

          Do you remember when,
          Things seemed so eternal?
          Heros were so real,
          Their magic frozen in time.

Nice axe! and yes...Chuck was one of the best!

Sanctuary beat me to it....yes, it needs a DiMarzio X2N, not a DualSound

              Sweet. How does yours balance?

Here's a pic of Chuck with a vintage Stealth. Note the neck pickup has been ripped out and the neck is shaved. The fretboard is Rosewood (as on the modern Blackie), but with no inlays. I suspect the switch is a kill-switch. He also used that white X2N in his Ignitor and the modern Blackie for a while.

The only solution to GAS is DEATH...

This pic is great! It's the first time I see it! You can see also the valvestate stack on the back! The body of that stealth seems a bit different...like it has no bevels?
                Regarding the X2N:
do you think that a Death's fan like me never had an X2N?
I had it in my old DR3 but combined with my Engl Fireball it was total gain overkill!
I had the dual sound unused so for now it does the job great.

The guitar seems to have a good balance but I can be sure about it in a few hours when I'll be in my rehersal room

The original Stealths were not bevelled compared to the modern ones. Have a look at the pic below. On the left are two '83s and on the right an '04. The white one has no bevels, where-as the blue-burst one does. Something to be said for the fact that everything BCR did back then was by hand and there can be a huge variation from one guitar to the next just based on what builder you got on that day.

Apologies for adding my guitarporn to your thread!

HAH!!! like we ever get tired of seeing your stealths. your group shot could be a sticky in "guitars by other manufacturers" as far as im concerned.
