That is damn cool. I love that headstock, especially reversed.

Sweet. How does yours balance?
Here's a pic of Chuck with a vintage Stealth. Note the neck pickup has been ripped out and the neck is shaved. The fretboard is Rosewood (as on the modern Blackie), but with no inlays. I suspect the switch is a kill-switch. He also used that white X2N in his Ignitor and the modern Blackie for a while.

This pic is great! It's the first time I see it! You can see also the valvestate stack on the back! The body of that stealth seems a bit different...like it has no bevels?
Regarding the X2N:
do you think that a Death's fan like me never had an X2N?
I had it in my old DR3 but combined with my Engl Fireball it was total gain overkill!
I had the dual sound unused so for now it does the job great.
The guitar seems to have a good balance but I can be sure about it in a few hours when I'll be in my rehersal room

The original Stealths were not bevelled compared to the modern ones. Have a look at the pic below. On the left are two '83s and on the right an '04. The white one has no bevels, where-as the blue-burst one does. Something to be said for the fact that everything BCR did back then was by hand and there can be a huge variation from one guitar to the next just based on what builder you got on that day.
Apologies for adding my guitarporn to your thread!Last edited by Sanctuary; 11-18-2006, 04:06 PM.The only solution to GAS is DEATH...
