jcm800x - that rosewood is sweet too. There was a guy selling one like that on the bay who lives in Woodstock also. I forgot to bid on it and would have got it for $899 since no one bid. But it ended up working out since I found this one. But you guys are killin' me with all these pics and talk.
Mine is on the truck as we speak and I'm counting down the minutes until I leave work........

Well, here it is:
I love this thing! I've had it for almost two weeks now and have hardly touched my Model 6 or my new 5150 replica I got a week before the YJM from a guy on Jemsite. It's a comfy guitar, the pickups are sweet (need to have the middle checked out, it has almost no volume then fades in and out), and it looks cool. But the scalloping is it for me. I am really digging it. The biggest adjustment, IMO, is for open chords but I'm used to it already. To test it, I played along with one of my old cover band CDs with a bunch of "chordy" stuff on it. Power and barre chords are no problem. But the best part is bending. It feels so good all over the neck - from low strings at low frets to high strings on the upper frets, it just feels so different without the wood there. You can really grab the string. I noticed I was overbending a lot times, so last night I checked with a tuner. For some reason, the first string requires about the same level of effort to go up 1 or 1 1/2 steps as other guitars but on the 2nd and 3rd strings, I can hit 2 and even 2 1/2 step bends with no problem! Did I say I love this guitar?!!Unleash the fury.....Texas style!

I hear ya man, its my main squeeze these days. I just ordered a yjm308 just for the hell of it. I'm gonna crank it into the high output of my JCM800 and see what happens. I'm glad your liking it, it's hard to pick up my other guitars when the YJM is sitting there waiting to be played.Charvel 7308 (TMZ 008), Charvel Pro-mod (yellow), Jackson Soloist Custom (Yellow), Jackson SL2H-V Natural, Gibson LPS DB, Gibson LPS EB, Gibson LPCC C, Charvel Model 2 (scalloped), Jackson DK2M (white), Charvel Journeyman, Fender Classic Player 60's strat, Carvin C66, Musikraft strat mutt, Warmoth Strat mutt, Fender MIM Jazz bass, Epiphone Classical, Takamine parlor. Got it back. Been playing it today, through my Mesa Rectoverb. Pickups not really hot enough for what I usually play, but I unwrapped my old MT-2 & the YJM sings. The tone may not be to some people's taste, but I like the "nasal" middy sound of the MT-2 (a touch of CE-5 chorus too), & the YJM plays beautifully. I miss the extra fret or 3, but string bends up a tone & a half are easy at the top. Vibrato easier - even for me. Love this guitar!Wal - Good from far, but far from good

Cool man, I use an mt2 as well. I just got a yjm308 and it is very cool, a tad bright but thats what my amp's treble knob is for! I tried hotter pups but I put the hs3 back in, sounds better, you just need a line boost or an mt2!Charvel 7308 (TMZ 008), Charvel Pro-mod (yellow), Jackson Soloist Custom (Yellow), Jackson SL2H-V Natural, Gibson LPS DB, Gibson LPS EB, Gibson LPCC C, Charvel Model 2 (scalloped), Jackson DK2M (white), Charvel Journeyman, Fender Classic Player 60's strat, Carvin C66, Musikraft strat mutt, Warmoth Strat mutt, Fender MIM Jazz bass, Epiphone Classical, Takamine parlor.
